Hey everyone. Wondering if anyone here has heard from Steve Kammeyer? I’ve purchased a ton of gear from him over the years, and it seems he’s gone missing? I know he had an online store (Ki Ki Outdoors) and sold ULA packs, and everything backpacking related.  He’s no longer selling on FB or anywhere. I hope he’s OK.

Thanks in advance.

Hey one of our members reported this post suggesting that Steve might not want his email address shared publicly on a forum. I think that’s a good point so I removed it. Please share his address via PM.

Thanks for the reply, John.  I have his email and have tried emailing him over the course of the last 4ish weeks. I’m hoping he still has connections with ULA. But he hasn’t responded to any emails either. Hope he’s OK and just on a sabbatical or something.

This question popped up in the last couple of months on the FB backpacking gear flea market group he was associated with . No one reported being able to find out anything.

Steve’s email address is public and on several podcast websites.  Angela Kammeyer Crippen is on facebook, and on Steve’s friend list. Message her (his sister or related).

Steve dissapeared about a month ago after failing to ship thousands of dollars worth of orders to members of the Facebook group he used to moderate.

Coordinated efforts to locate him, including contacting family members, have been unsuccessful.

Wow. Didn’t know. He always provided tracking numbers within hours and always filled my orders in a timely fashion. That’s too bad.  I’ll be curious to see if he resurfaces.

Reminds me of when Lukes Ultralight began to fail orders. My suggestion is to make a report with the local sheriffs office of his jurisdiction, should anybody be looking for merchandise paid for.
