No Xtherms and X-lites. Something new coming along? Labor problems or material shortages?

Just a guess, but the supply chain is still not back to what we’re used to.
My hopes are a new design. They have me with reliability and warranty but I question the R values. I’ve got this conspiracy theory going on in my head that the new pad testing favors the NeoAir horizontal baffles ( no Im not also a QAnon believer) I just don’t feel they are as warm as they claim. And they really don’t feel very comfortable unless I let air out and then they feel even less warm. If Exped could ever get the product failure problems under control I could find love, happiness and backcountry slumber bliss again. But right now I’m eyeballing new sleeping pads I just can’t decide which one.

“If Exped could ever get the product failure problems under control …”
My understanding is that production changes were made to address the baffle blow-outs.
How many have had failures with product made after 2018?
(apologies for the drift)
They told me the baffle blow out was resolved … after my baffle blow out ..
A msg left at an REI website from mid Dec 2020 (almost 2 months ago), when a user complained about no NeoAirs, said Thermarest would soon replenish their (big box) stock. It’s now in stock (as of today) and can’t see any difference from the 2020 version with the “wingnut” valve. Of course they didn’t say anything about baffles.
Guessing distribution and they wanted to supply the retailers first.
I’m supposed to be on the email list. Looking for an xlite. Wish they made a 25 x 72 in the xtherm.
No notification yet.
Yes verified that REI has them but there’s no listing for a regular wide
Oh boy guess I’ll have to cut down my xtherm.
%!?!!*!#**??
77″ just gets in the way. It’s the length not the weight. OK BPL sacrilege. Me and Eric B. going for the comfort.
I guess I’ll have to study up on that procedure. %!?!!*!#**?? again
