I have the Puma bag which has 6 more ozs of down than the Kodiak—and my bag weighs 3 lbs 7 ozs versus your bag at 2 lbs 12 ozs.

I use a 35 liter sea to summit eVent bag for my Puma—

You might get by with a 20 liter bag—

Point is, you’ll want something big enough to allow easy stuffing when the bag is bone dry and fully lofted—and can roll smaller when the bag is slightly moist due to air humidity.  The 20 liter is still pretty big but maybe not even be big enough for the Kodiak.

I use an 18 litre cuben/ eVent rolltop for my 6′ Kodiak and it takes a little while to pack but fits fine. Definitely wouldn’t go any smaller. And if you have the 6’6″ or 7′ Kodiak you’ll want to go with a bigger compression bag because the sleeping bag is cut wider as well as longer.
