What is your Favorite Winter Tent?

If Kuiu would ever build their Storm Star in a 1P that would be a tent that I’d strongly consider.

As it is, the Arcdome 1P still is my top contender.

The Storm Star is a tent I’d love to have, but hope I never needed.

I think it will be a good one. Durston has a spreader bar over the doors which may give more rain protection. I think the ArcDome will be a stronger tent overall.

I realized it matches my backpack which sort of scares me. Coordinated colors in backpacking?

After some googling I see the reference. Finally someone that’s backpacking with a bit of taste. I mean – we are not animals are we. Notice the Avocado green bow bag, side pockets, purse with the Arcdome 1 inside, and the polebag.

I only wish you could see the Avocado green food bag and hip belt pockets.

I like that combination. I went through all the colors. Completely unnecessary, but why not?

Just a note on the Stone Glacier tents vs Slingfin tents. Looks like the Stone Glacier ones contain PFAS (according to their website), but not the Slingfins. That is a very relevant difference.
