I’ve used these down to around 25*F out in the field. Everyday wear during the winter, I’ve had them down around 10* walking out to the barn. Through two winters so far. I often use shoe covers when not walking on snow. The uppers have kept me warm. The soles are about 1/2″ thick, but I find them lacking on their own. I’ve used cheap alpaca felt insoles for extra warmth. Due to the sizing of the boot, even the largest insoles are a bit small, but they work. They’re shaped on the inside so my heel locks in. Ten inches in height. 8.2 oz. For the large. They’re a little bulky to pack. They could be lighter.  40D nylon ripstop. 800 fp. Water repellant.

My booties prior to these were the WM Flash down booties which were a bit more packable. I wore those for five years before the back seam busted out on one.

Recommended 7/10Field performance 7/10Use again 10/10
