I was looking on their site today and saw that the only packs the have available are the Evlv, Mile, and their Dark Sky day pack. They have some on the shelf versions of their larger packs, but other than that they aren’t listed. I wonder if they are redesigning. Sure wouldn’t want to see them fail. They make some quality gear.

Agreed, quality gear. I have the newest iteration of Waymark’s LITE 50L, purchased in Oct. 2023 after a few tweaks were made to the design, and it’s an outstanding pack. Carries like a dream, comfortable, and well made. The only thing I wish for is a more modular approach to the compression/lash straps, but otherwise checks all my boxes. I really hope they’re sticking around.

Checked again today and they don’t have anything for sale listed. 😞

I have friends in the SLC maker community and they went and talked to Mark. He’s fine, just wasn’t turning a profit while working too hard. So sadly, Waymark is over.

Man that sucks! I’m glad I got a Evlv Ultra and My Lite and Thru. Nice to have a piece of that history.

It’s a highly competitive market where the crafters all copy each other with little innovation. We can’t all make backpacks.

What a bummer! I’ve loved my Thru and Zipp since 2019.

Sad to see, I am in the market for a new backpack and just became aware of them. I also saw that Black Rock Gear closed a while ago. I have 2 of their Haldron beanies that are the only hats I wear. You can’t find anything more comfortable and warm than those hats. All for less than ounce.

Looks like GGG still has some packs in stock. I was interested in the Mile 28L but worried it would be too small in terms of fit. I have a 19 inch back and fairly wide shoulders – does anyone have experience with this pack that can offer any size advice?

Unless you’re doing a weekend, packing 28L is gonna be tough unless it’s summer, or you can use a tarp. I’d say get the Evlv 38L from GGG.
