Hey everyone, I’m prepping for a trip to the SW this fall and came across Water Wizard on this site. I’m planning to take some to help settle out any silty water I have to draw from. I was wondering if there was any good reason not to mix aquamira in at the same time as the flocculant? Appreciate any input!
The chlorine dioxide needs to have physical contact with the viruses, bacteria, and large single celled parasites (protozoa) to kill them. So I would suggest that means settle the silt, then treat. Otherwise the critters are hiding behind/in particles of suspended organic and mineral matter.
