Water treatment decision making

“in the beginning…” I have owned a couple of larger pump type filters. They worked well but were heavy.

Then I switched to #2 coffee filters in a small funnel and Katadyn Chlorine Dioxide tablets. Worked well and was lite and purified instead of just filtered bacteria. THEN I got fancy and used a UV light purifier to  handle the purification job.

Finally, for car camping I decided on the Sawyer Squeeze with adaptor for bags at both ends. Gravity v.s. pumping.
