Review below. At $130 US, only 1.6oz heavier the GG LT4’s, and a more reliable flick lock design, these pole are very compelling.

Nice review, thanks for sharing it.
Nice review. I dig the CP3’s and they rocked it well on some hardcore use recently.
Solid review. I just used mine for 16 days in the ANWR in Alaska and a few shorter hikes. It’s a little early to tell, but I feel that at least one fall I took would likely have broken a carbon Z pole. I like their stiffness–between my old Z poles, and a super stiff pole like a BD Alpine Carbon Cork. Worked well to set up shelter.
The grips are fine, but aren’t strictly my favorite. My favorites were actually on the z poles–thinner than most, and had the most varied ways to hold for different heights. The flicklock design is solid. They worked well to set shelter.
The Z-poles small choke down area does look nice. Thanks everyone for the kind words.
I’ve had my CP3s for a few years now and I certainly didn’t pay $200 for mine; I’m pretty sure they’ve always been in the $130 range for the pair (depending on exchange rates, of course…)
I really like mine.
I have had mine for years also and I payed a little under $130 with shipping, I have never heard of anyone paying much more than that with the exchange rate fluctuation, especially $200. I love mine and was glad I bought them before the rattling issue some people started getting with some of his later poles.
I annotated my video, my memories were false, they’ve never been $200!
