Massdrop have a drop on Vibram Furoshiki shoes and it has me thinking that they may make good camp shoes. They weigh 5.9oz (167 grams) for the large size and appear to pack down pretty small from the photo.
Thanks
Anyone have experience with these as a camp shoe? Any other suggestions?Oct 21, 2017 at 2:13 pm #3497763Looking at the Massdrop comments the weight listed is per shoe. They would probably work fine for camp shoes.
Oct 21, 2017 at 4:15 pm #3497766These would likely work well for any number of people, but there are quite a few options at or below 12oz/pair. Personally, I need more protection than these appear to provide…
…and “ground feel” is off the charts. The tread molds to every bump or crack on the ground…
The “Amazon water shoes” mentioned in several camp shoe threads offer great protection at 10.4 oz in size 13 and for $25 (or less).
