During my last mountaineering trip, a friend brought a thermos with hot beverage and it was great. I am considering carrying one next time. Are there any light vacuum bottles out there for winter outing that you recommend? I did some research and found the lightest one to be a GSI Outdoor ultralight coffee flask, it comes at 7.9 ounces for 17 fluid ounces. I am looking for something between 16 and 32 fl oz capacity. The snow peak Kanpai comes in at 12.5 oz. Does anybody have any feedback on the GSI Outdoors vacuum bottle or recommend another one? I would like the beverage to stay hot for about 6-8 hours.
