Anyone here have any idea what the actual protection, of spray on UV protection such as Trinova, Scotchgard, or Star Brite? Ideally in terms of UPF.
Why? I really appreciated the Montbell Umbrero as a rain hat, but Montbell tells me it offer little UV protection. Wondering if I use one of the spray off UV protectors it could also function as a hat which protects my head/face/neck from sunburn.
