Headed out there shortly for a quick overnight and then some dayhiking. Anyone been out there in past few days? Wondering if wildflowers can still be found, and at what elevations? Kinda thinking about the Coxcombs, but would welcome other tips for off the beaten track adventure. Thanks!
My daughter and I just hiked the CRHT from April 2-4. There were tons of wildflowers — I can’t imagine they aren’t still there a week later given how many we saw and how many plants were budding. There were tons of people within a mile or so of the roads, but we saw almost no one in between.
