I previously owned the TI Goat poles and liked the grip and strap on them. I would experience issues of sliding of the tensioner and one time I even lost it in the pole on the trail, it was almost impossible to retrieve. As a result I am looking for some ultralight poles in a similar weight range +- a 5-7 oz that have straps but dont utilize and internal tensioner.

Any thoughts on the quality/grippiness of the cork, i can get it for the same price as the neoprene.
Dont have costco, have to order online.
