I have both a TT Moment DW and a TT Notch Li. The Notch Li has the new solid interior that is actually lighter than all mesh interiors. And now Tarptent is offering that ultralight interior for the Moment DW.
I post this for gram weenies who don’t want to buy Dyneema tents but want a lighter liner tent for their silnylon Tarptent that they either have or want to buy. But ya got wait until March and here I’m guessing that all of their new silnylon tents will have the new light inner solid tents.
Actually I have TWO Moment DW flys because I’d lost the original in a windstorm while it was hanging in my backyard drying after a post trip rinsing off. So I got a new Moment DW fly from Tarptent. Naturally a short time after I got that new fly a neighbor came to my door with the original fly that had landed on his property.
SO… now I’m getting another inner body for the new fly and giving the original Moment DW to my oldest grandson. Lucky kid.
