Three Great Ultralight Packs

Next in the transition of the ‘Big Three’ I offer a review in this video of three packs, the Zpacks Arc Blast, the HMG 3400 Windrider (now called the Junction), and for packrafters, Seek Outside’s Divide pack.

This is Chapter Six of the video series aimed at helping people transition from Traditional to Ultralight Backpacking. And, there’s yet another reference to Gear Swap! Doing my bit to keep plugging BPL, and thanks for your ongoing support.

The Seek Outside Divide pack could also be used for backpack big game hunting to carry out boned meat.

Yeah, you’re absolutely right Eric. I believe that Seek Outside’s original focus was backcountry hunting packs, and the Divide is actually an attempt to appeal to a broader audience. Works for me!

By the way, just to clarify my description above, HMG still makes the Windrider and just added the Junction, they didn’t change the name. I made that confusing statement because the actual pack I own is a custom Windrider which has the same configuration as the Junction (mesh front pocket and solid sides).
