Ula CDT vs Palante simple pack

I only had a Palante V2 for about an hour before I realized it wasn’t a good fit for me. That said, the volume of the main pack was pretty similar to my CDT’s main compartment.
The Shoulder straps on the Palante are more padded and not bound with grosgrain on the edges like ULA does. (Advantage Palante)
Both have fairly reachable side pockets but I prefer ULA’s by a wide margin. (Advantage CDT)
