This brainchild is based on 5+ day stay and no streams or lake nearby.
MAIN STOVE-> MSR Whisperlite Universal (in white gas mode) For cooking.
SUPPLEMENTAL STOVE-> Trail Designs ti Sidewinder W/ Inferno gassifier insert For melting snow.
Why? Because this combination means the Trail Designs ti cone stove weighs less than the extra gas fuel to melt snow. Use it and the finger sized twigs available. No wood available? Sorry Bucky, you’ll have to carry extra white gas (petrol).
Is this just silly or deucedly clever? (Often I’m so smart I make myself sick. Here I’m just slightly nauseas.)
