The final beta period for TRIPS will begin on April 6, you may apply using the link below.
TRIPS is being built for people who plan demanding or consequential backcountry routes, and this final beta will focus on hikers who have enough field data from their wearable and domain knowledge to pressure-test the TRIPS platform.
For this beta series, Iām specifically looking for people who:
- have access to a large FIT dataset of their own
- are comfortable working with training / wearable data
- have basic technical knowledge of physiology
- actively do long day hikes, multi-day backpacking, long-distance hiking, ultrarunning, fastpacking, difficult backpacking, or FKTs
If you are interested, apply here (link opens in new tab).
What accepted testers should expect:
- early access to a near-production-ready release of the TRIPS platform
- exposure to software issues that are not yet known
- requests for specific feedback on FIT data ingest, calibration, route planning, and model behavior
- occasional follow-up questions if your data or use case surfaces something interesting
