I am often struck by the difference in expectation and reality for a trail run near my house. I live at the base of the Rockies in Fort Collins, and it always seems a shame to NOT go up high- but when I run down here in the hogbacks and first valleys of the mountains, I always love it. Also, I’m nursing a broken bone in my toe, and itching to get back out on the trails soon! Great piece, Isaac
