The Philmont 2019 trail meal list is out. https://www.philmontscoutranch.org/philmonttreks/dining/

They still have Sante Fe chicken on the list plus the southwestern style rice and beef. Always a gastrointestinal pleasure to digest those. Keep the poop kit nearby those nights! :-)

Oh boy Sante Fe chicken and southwestern style rice and beef, not my best memories of Philmont.

And Sriracha Peanut Butter? That doesn’t sound promising.

Still gotta choke it down because being calorie deprived can make for an unpleasant trek.

Thanks for this… we’ve been waiting for a while as I have several Scouts with peanut allergies and one with a gluten allergies. We’re hoping to try to keep pack weight down without having to crack open the Epi-pen.
