Does anyone with an 18″ torso own the newer version Superior Wilderness Designs Long Haul (40 or 50) pack? My torso is 18″ on the nose and their sizing straddles it. Small is 16″-18″ and Medium is 18″-20″. They say to size up if you fall on the upper end, but that additional 2″ in the medium gives me pause. Hoping to get some real world experience with this.

I have an 18.5″ torso, and I would recommend the medium regardless of whether you are getting the seen or the hanging hipbelt. With the later, you will be able to fine tune a hair.
