My Showa gloves were delivered to me today and I got to try them out while shoveling snow here in northeast Ohio.  Temperature hovered around 16deg with a windchill near 0deg.  These things are awesome!  I had a pair of REI polar fleece liners under these and my hands were toasty the whole time. Very breathable gloves with no sweaty hands after shoveling the driveway and sidewalk. Can’t wait to try them on some winter backpacking trips.  These could be a game changer in keeping my hands warm and dry!

I had mine on today with rain/snow through the entire hike.    Cold and wet is where they shine.    You won’t win any fashion awards but I just distract everyone with my shorts/gaiters combo and they don’t even notice that I’m wearing bright blue gloves that look like I just walked out of a fish processing plant.

Yeah I’m glad these come in black and not blue. They look more like gloves for outdoor use and not for  doing some dishes.  I’m going to enjoy these a lot for sure.

That’s good news!  I bought the same.  I’m doing an overnighter on New Years here in the PNW.  I’d planned to test them at that time.

I have the blue ones.  There is a certain advantage to looking like a serial killer when reminding tenderfeet backpackers to bury their poop.

These with a Crocodile Dundee knife on your belt would probably prevent all trail conversations for the duration.

These gloves are the gift that keeps on giving. So glad I bought a pair
