I was going to write a report on my fishing in the Spanish Pyrenees but a friend of mine, who is a much better writer, put it up on his Blog. Also not sure if this should be in Tenkara or here.

Wonderful! Who hasn’t read Hemingway and wanted to go trout fishing in the Pyrenees? Did you eat any of the catch?
Much of the water in Europe is private, requiring a “rod fee” and often a guide.
How do you know what streams are open to the public?
And, how do get to them?
No, everything was catch and release in the area I was fishing.
I hired a guide who took care of my license and all access fees.
