One of the products I’ve been using for a few years now (not to be named here until I figure out what’s going) is developing pinholes in the fabric.
The fabric is one of the DCF-WPB sandwiches (which I’m not sure, but I think is no longer in production).
If anyone else has experienced the formation of pinholes in DCF-WBP, can you please share your experiences here?

May we assume these pinholes leak water in heavy rains?
They are all angled in the same direction. Is there a force being applied in one particular direction?
How much of the fabric shows this, all or a limited area? Is this an area of repeated folding?
@danepacker – yes, they leak.
@sbhikes I think this is probably what’s going on here, it’s like the film failed in response to loading.
@modifier – very, very small % of total fabric; maybe 1-3 areas like this over a square meter, and it’s not correlated with fold lines.
It looks like a reaction to shear forces. This is probably why they layer DCF with fibers in different directions. More layers, more shear strength, but also more weight.
