This September on TESLA’s “Battery Day” TESLA will announce its supposed revolutionary Al-ion battery for the TESLA Model 2. With around 7 Al-ion battery factories being built around the world
TESLA aims to make this battery in MANY shapes for many markets including, natch, military.
Personally I can’t wait to relaplace my two heavy Li-ion E-mountain bike batteries for my 2 wheel drive monster that I use for hunting and hauling out boned-out meat.
If as revolutionary as the most fervent YouTube video touts then this is VERY close to the Holy Grail of batteries we all have been waiting for. SAFE FROM COMBUSTION, VERY FAST CHARGING, HUGE BATTERY LONGEVITY, WIDE TEMPERATURE OPERATING RANGE, LIGHTER, LESS EXPENSIVE.
