I was browsing recycling services, as I sometimes do*, and found a program called Terracycle that accepts a variety of plastic packaging, including

Backpacker’s Pantry https://www.terracycle.com/en-US/brigades/backpackerspantry

Mountain House https://www.terracycle.com/en-US/brigades/mountain-house

I’ve signed up for one for one of the dog food bag collection programs, but have no further experience. Seems like something folks here might be interested in.
- Stopwaste.org and RecycleWhere.org are also good; that might be where I found this.

I started a thread about Terracycle back in 2015, seemed quite interesting. Never did get a response in the thread.
