Most on this forum know I’ve modified two Tarptent Moment tents (the original and the DW) and also my Scarp 2. this was mainly to run poles under the fly for “winterizing them. But I also added fly hem stale loops and pre-made guy lines. On the Scarp 2 I also bought a heavy duty main pole.
Now I have two tents (sold the Moment SW) that are very wind-worthy and will take a snow load well.
Has anyone modded their tent(s)? If so why?
Used to Mod my Tarp tents a bit, not have done so with any on my Hillebergs.
I did like tinkering with my old Scarp 1.
