I’m pretty excited about this release. A Double Wall DCF not trekking pole tent is something I’ve been wanting for awhile.

I don’t think you’d be disappointed with it. Another appealing variation of the Rainbow which has always been on my shortlist.
I wonder how restrictive the inner is? How easy it is to take out and put back in.
It would make a roomy semi freestanding tarp with just a groundsheet.
Henry makes good stuff.  Not a flashy with the marketing as some of the others, but good solid stuff none-the-less.
I notice there’s also a nylon version. It’s $415 less and only 5.3 ounces heavier. For ~$78 an ounce difference, it’s a pretty easy decision for me.
Poly
The TT Rainbow design, whether double or single, is very clever and beloved by many owners. Very wind stable and possible to make free standing using two trekking poles.
And in Dyneema format it is even better for not stretching and sagging when wet and holding virtually no water on its surface when shaken out. Â But I’d choose a nylon floor given my own experience with a Dyneema floor.
