I’m very interested in the Tarptent Arcdome 1 with a full solid for winter trips – because of the (assumed) heat retention.
Anyone know how the Arcdome 1 (still unreleased – 1p solid inner) compare to the MSR Access 1? The only functional/weight difference my amateur eyes can find is that the Arcdome 1 seems to me more stormworthy (aluminum poles version), and that it’s possible to have a 2p inner in the Arcdome (which is a great possibility). Price-wise it seems to be same-same.
I really love Tarptent shelters and have three of them already, so there is a difference there as well – although that’s “only” subjective.
