I’m not an experienced target but I hope to change that. I’ve got a 7×9 tarp with no guy lines. Total of 12 perimeter tie outs. Just bought a 100’ length of guy line thinking I could use the leftover for a bear bagging kit. Any suggestions for the lengths of the guy lines? I was thinking 12.5’ feet on the two end points and 2.5’ on the rest. That’d leave 50’ for the bear bag. Any suggestions from any of you tarp gurus out there? Thanks

*Tarper not target:)
This is the system I use.

as for use in a bear bag hanging system, what line? I’ve seen lots of remnants of bear hangs in the trees which used improper line for the system and got it stuck/snagged/sawed into the tree branches. Using zing-it/lash-it or some comparable arboring product is important to minimize risks like this.
Thanks for the link. I bought Zing It for that reason👍🏼
