I made some changes to the design to incorporate a bottom fuel grate and ground protection plate.  They attach in slots on the back of the stove and are held up by Ti stakes at the front. The stove works great with or without them but it give more options for burning in different conditions.  Burned for almost an hour on one load of dry oak pieces finger diameter. Boiled water in under 5 minutes.  Removed water from fire for about 35 minutes and it quickly brought back to a boil and continued to low boil then simmer until 50 minutes into burn time.  See pictures below.

Top air holes focusing fire to center.

Slots in the back to attach burn and protection plates.

30 minutes below with lots of coals and nearly invisible light blue flames.

Then 45 minutes and an hour.

No additional wood added or manipulation of fire throughout burn.  Usable heat for about 50 minutes.
