Not my trip report, but a pretty awesome video I happened across on youtube. He went out for 14 days in northern Sweden’s winter. Made an AWESOME snow bivy for 4 days, carried on and got stuck in a storm for 7 days straight! The big storm begins around 17:00 and is insane. Looks like 7 straight days of 40mph wind. 7 days in a 100 decibel tent sounds horrible to me but he remains good and jolly. I love the scandanavians. That snow bivy looked downright cozy.
Well, yes, but 40 mph is not that bad. We have skied in that (with compass!).
