Does anyone have any experience taking alcohol stoves on European trains? I have a Ti-Tri Sidewinder, so possible issues could be the 1) alcohol; 2) aluminum burner; and 3) sharp titanium cone.

Have done it many times and had no issue. We always take a sidewinder and burner for annual holiday in Europe – for over 10 years. Have never had my bag checked or scanned within the EU but had many customs scans in UK and Paris when using Eurostar.
It’s gas canisters they don’t want. And locking folding knives or large fixed blade knives.
You aren’t supposed to take alcohol fuel, but I’ve never had a problem. I just put it in either a soda bottle or mouth wash bottle and it’s never been flagged. Once on our first trip many years ago we had a gas canister and an opinel lock knife – all they do is confiscate it when it shows up on the scanner, delayed us by less than 5 minutes.
Thank you. Very useful to know. I like the mouth wash bottle idea. By “confiscate” do you mean take and discard or take and return at the end of the journey?
I travel from Istanbul to Paris by train and my experience with Istanbul after I almost got a spork taken away from them is that they tend to be stricter. Does your experience with stoves include Turkey?
Yes by confiscate I mean take and discard. I suppose I could have asked to have the knife back when I returned in several weeks but these are low value items are not worth the hassle.
I would certainly be more careful with Turkey (which although in the EU is outside Schengen area so will have customs control) and not attempt to transport fuel. I do know people who have travelled there with their alcohol stoves and cones (by plane). I have been told that a particular cheap lemon cologne is easily available there and is high in ethanol content so can be used as stove fuel!

Dangerous things, sporks. Very dangerous.
Sporks are extremely subversive, not tolerated by an authoritarian regime.
Or almond butter, from the most authoritarian of them all, the TSA: https://www.skyscanner.com/flights/advice/items-not-allowed-in-us-hand-luggage
