I’m curious if anyone can comment on how the MLD Bug Bivy or Superlight Bivy works in a Solomid? Do the hooks on the interior of the mid suspend the bigger well off of your face?
i love my Deschutes with the Bug Bivy except there are no hang loops. I’ve thought about sewing a loop on the interior near the exterior panel pull but the geometry isn’t quite right and it doesn’t suspend the bivy well. I’d probably switch over to the MLD Solomid if I knew it worked better with a bivy.
I know MLD makes the full mesh inner for the Solomid but I’m not interested.
