Noticed that some outdoor groups and schools are looking at using individual shelters as part of their protocols for dealing with Covid-19 when they open. I wonder if this will effect Scouts and the 2 deep/ safety protocols?
Jun 3, 2020 at 11:48 pm #3650898What we are preparing for now is solo ground sheets and tarps. But the bigger issue we have in California is no camping (or backpacking) with unrelated people. Group Camping (with unrelated people) at Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks is cancelled for the rest of the summer season. So it’s very difficult now, even though the trails are open. Most of the developed campgrounds in those 3 parks are not going to open until after July 4th.
