This is from my overnighter in the Big Indian Wilderness Area of the Catskill Mountains, NY.  Nothing flashy but sharing for anyone interested in camping photos or Lunar Solo pics. Its a solid Shelter, a cozy woodland home, and that green silpoly is Earth!!

It’s a solid shelter – I have the Lunar Duo and a number of my friends have the Lunar Solo (all in sil-nylon).  Easy to pitch and, like the Gatewood Cape, you can leave your trekking pole a little long and simply slide it in to tighten things up.  Nice photos!

How do u like the duo? Are there 2 separate short poles on the ends? Finicky?

Long time ago. I believe there were two separate bars. My first trekking pole tent. Not finicky at all. A great tent. I didn’t like the nylon and eventually gave mine away.

Gotcha. I have the Haven tarp/nettent. Its pretty solid set up for what it is. Wish it was silpoly.. but then again, I never really use it. I will probably use it in a few weeks when I take my niece out for her first backpacking/ camping trip.. she can use it with my daughter.. it will be perfect size for them to sleep in and carry.
