On my Caldera cones I like to cut notches in the top edge sized so that when I put my skewers in them they sit flush with the edge. This is useful when I need to put a bigger pot on the cone, like when someone I am with runs out of fuel and needs to finish cooking on my stove.
Veddy interesting…
I may do that to my Sidewinder for winter camping with a 1.5 L. pot for melting snow.
Nice George!
Do you just use a hole punch to poke “half a hole”?
Thanks, I have a Dremel and used the metal cutting wheel, though scissors would work as well.
