Was wondering if anyone can comment on the degree of slope / catenary curve between the two tents, and it’s impact on usable space beneath it.  Briefly had a Duomid XL which had to be pitched pretty high in order to provide enough space for the person pinned against the inner wall. Not sure if the “rear” portion of the XL is the same proportional dimension as the symmetrical Duomid or if the front section mimics it’s smaller cousin.  Looking at photos seems like the Duomid might have more of a slope hence decreasing the space but it could just be a poor pitch, while I don’t tend to see it with the Ultramid 2.  Looking to maximize interior space.

If you are looking for a shelter for two people, then the Duomid is likely too small. I imgine the Duomid XL is similar to half of a 4 person mid.

Not necessarily looking for 2 people usage, but would like to have it in the case of a pinch.  I agree the XL is similar to half of a full mid…. I’m guessing it’s the rear portion, whereas the front (steeper section) is similar to a regular Duomid’s geometry?
