I use a Klymit Static V because it is 70d and can take some abuse. It is about 19oz though also. Other than the short version of this pad are there other, lighter pads out there that can take some abuse?
Nov 7, 2020 at 9:16 pm #3682896maybe the thermarest prolite.

Nov 8, 2020 at 1:45 am #3682919The Thermarest NeoAir XTherm is 15oz and has a 70d bottom (30d top), vs the XLite 30d/30d. The Prolite is now only 50d.
Nov 8, 2020 at 12:27 pm #3682956Why does a sleeping pad need to take abuse? Protect it from punctures on the bottom with a small piece of Tyvek or a 1/8” foam pad (both about 3 oz). Both will offer superior puncture protection compared to 70D fabric.
