Hey all. I’m a tossy turny sleeper and find myself sliding off of my pad frequently. Can anyone recommend a pad for this problem? I’m looking at the Big Agnes Q Core SLX, as it has raised baffles along the sides, but would like some opinions on it or suggestions for other 3 season pads that might work for me. Thanks!

raised outer baffles and 25″ width works wonders.  I’m not willing to spend exorbitant amount of money on pads.  I have an REI Stratus that I really liked.

I picked up a BA Q-core on sale and like it even more (very plush).  REI has this one for $80:

they also have the reg width for a bit less:

I’m a size L chest and also a tosser. I slide off 20″ pads frequently. 25″ pads not so much. I think it has to do with my arms dangling outside the pad and when I turn in my sleep they push the pad out of place.

Thermarest Neo air trekker -wide torso model. Comfy.

Between the slippery bag and the cuben floor, I found myself chasing my pad all night long. So, I put some seam seal on both sides of the pad for traction. Works great!

I have the exact same problem.  I bought a long/wide neoair all season pad hoping to solve the problem.  It worked fine, but I found that I still had to make a conscious effort to stay near the middle or I would collapse the edge and slide off.  On a whim I tried the BA Q Core SLX and instantly it was obvious that the Q Core at 20 inches wide kept me off the group better than the 25 inch wide thermarest.  The BA, even at 10 ounces lighter, is twice as comfortable and with the raised baffles I never worry about sliding off.  10/10 would pick BA.  I’m about 5’7″ and 165lbs for reference.

I also toss and turn a lot and have a BA Q Core SLX. I have never had a problem sliding off. I have a long regular width. I think the last time I put it on the scale with the carrying bag it was close to 20 oz(instead of the stated 17 oz). I wonder if it’s from the moisture in my breath and inflating it so many times.
