I am looking for a new sleeping bag for a young kid.  I had him in a EE quilt, but we just haven’t been able to make it work for him.  His sister is in a REI Joule that we found at a REI garage sale and is quite happy with it.  He has never had an accident in many nights of camping.  Any recommendatins?  I am looking at regular length, less expensive, lightweight adult bags like REI Igneo, Mountain Equipment Helium 600, Rab Ascent 500 or a kids bag at the same weight or more like REI Nodder or Mountain Hardware Bozeman adjustable.    We need something in the 20 deg range.

My kids all used one of my old elephants foot half bags until they grew tall enough to use an adult bag.

Not exactly cheap but WM have the Tamarack which I own and recommend and the new zipperless half bag which I want.

I would suggest getting an adult bag S/H and simply cutting it down to size or using a bungie cord on the bottom to take up the excess and folding that excess inside the bag, I also did that
