Anyone have these pants and can chime into the size on them? Would be layering them over thermals. I wear a medium in most but wondering if they would be to tight to layer. Had some Montbell pants in Medium and while they fit I could definitely have used some extra space.

If you wear a medium, normally. I would stay with medium with the Houdini pants.
I am a 36 waist, 32 length and the large Houdini pants fits perfectly over patagonia cap 4 bottoms.
I would call the fit neither slim or baggy.

Just bought a pair two weeks ago. I am a 32×32. Bought the mediums and they fit great. I layered a pair of cap 2s under and I didn’t feel any constriction of movement. Granted I was only around camp but they didn’t seem too small at all. If you normally get medium sized from patagonia, I would stay with the medium.
