After years of fine-tuning and experimenting, I think I am pretty much there when it comes to my personal preferences and needs. For my solo-hike of the Sierra High Route mid July to early August, I am thinking about taking the following items: https://lighterpack.com/r/1saibg

I would be very interested in your opinions and expertise. Is there something I seem to forget (except for hygiëne/personal care products). Any obsolete items? Could I ditch the fleece shirt and headnet?

Thanks!

I think I’d hang onto the headnet; bugs seem to be hit and miss up high, but when hit they are very bad from everything I’ve read

are you bringing anything for traction?  typically a few dicey areas to traverse (unless the Sierras have experienced a really low snow year???)

I’d keep the fleece, small insurance policy if you hit some cold/wet conditions on the move and to augment your light down jacket if you get really cold temps at night/morning
