Is it me or theres just not that many options for men for SHORT sleeve options of short sleeve with 1/2 zip for warm weather?
I mean I see some on Amazon, but they are for other sports…..

What other sports? Does it make a difference if the shirts are made for running( there are a lot of stores online that sell running apparel) or is there something about the sport such as cycling where you’re concerned about pockets on the back or the shirt? You can also shorten the sleeves on a long sleeve shirt.

You might also consider a polo shirt. It’ll have buttons instead of a zipper, and quarter instead of half, but it’s still something. Plus, pop the collar and you not only get some protection from the sun in your lower neck, but you’ll be rocking a rad 1980s look.
I found a Giro wool cycling polo shirt on Sierra Trading Post for a great price several years ago. It’s become my favorite hiking shirt because I don’t reek like I do with some other shirts. It’s reasonable light and cool. But you can find synthetics, too.
