Not defective. Handcrafted. Like stonework. Sometimes if it’s too perfect, it looks fake. If you’re cutting joints with a saw, you wiggle it a little bit. Round off the corners. Chip it up a little.
I made a down vest that was shorter than I intended. I didn’t include the width of the bottom baffle. So, now I keep harvesting the down from it for various projects
Thanks for the thoughts and advice. I put the front panel on backwards, face in, so I put the sides on backwards to match. The first one I did, I sewed one of the seams on the outside. I used it for cleaning tile in the bathroom. Measure once, cut twice. Having the right tools makes a difference. I like the clips. I hadn’t seen them before.
