I’d appreciate some informed advice/opinions for the best brand of water repellency treatment to use on some older nylon rain jackets that now seem to be slightly “wetting out” in rainstorms. (These are not GoreTex or similar so-called “waterproof/breathable” membrane jackets.) They aren’t leaking lots of water through the material, but across the back and down the arms they show splotchy dark spots, and when I run my finger down the inside of those locations I get moisture. I’m aware there are products you spray on, others that you use in the washing machine, and perhaps other methods. I have no experience with any of them. Thanks for any suggestions.”
