No. Â But, on my phone I can, for example search for tarp between May 15, 2010 and May 17, 2010 using the daterange operator and two Julian dates. Â See screen shots. Â On my computer this does not work. Â I can’t create new threads, so I can’t file a bug report.
Tarp daterange:2455332-2455334
Or MLD in the last 3 weeks
MLD daterange:2457345-2457365

You can do a daterange search on BPL, but it still won’t put results in date order. I’m assuming this site still uses Google search, and as far as I know, there is no way to search using Google and get your results in date order – it’s not one of the search operators Google offers.
If you want date order, you don’t want a search engine, you want to select from posts where content contains at least N terms ordered by date.
Search engines like Google don’t place poor matches first because they are newer. Â Â The best matches go first.
The search actually works really well, except for gearswap. Â Gearswappers would be better off filtering only posts that contain any of their terms, ordering by date.
the default ordering is probably relevance.
