Search function returning old dates as new…I think?

I was looking for some info on the Gossamer Gear Gorilla, so I searched with it in quotes and sorted by date. Dates returned are showing like they’re very recent, but when you click the link you’re transported to 2011,14, etc. (see screenshot).
Also, are the old gear swap postings going to be purged anytime soon? Those definitely muddy up the search results.
