The Foam+ Filtration Systems combine Sawyer’s signature 0.1 micron absolute Hollow Fiber Membrane filter with a proprietary Foam membrane developed in partnership with the company Foamulations to remove virtually all contaminants found in fresh water.

Available in 3 options, S1, S2 and S3.

What is the purpose of the second step in the instructions to massage the bottle for 10 seconds? Maybe to reposition/activate the carbon in the foam….

Wet the filter maybe. Dry filters may not flow properly.
